If you use ready-to-serve Hoi Sin sauce bottle, to get the same flavour (nearly the same), you just simply add the chilli and crushed peanut onto the sauce. 


Ingredients

You can easily find a Hoisin sauce bottle in Asian isle a popular supermarket, such as Coles or Woolworths or IGA. The Hoi Sin sauce is available in Asian grocery stores. 
4 tbsp Hoi Sin sauce from Hoi Sin bottle
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 red chilli- thin sliced (or chilli paste)
10g peanut (or 2 tbsp). Roasted and then crushed.
Water.

1-Mix hoisin sauce, peanut butter, rice vinegar, a tablespoon of water, then cook gently (simmer).
2-Add little water while stirring until the sauce looks glossy and smooth.
3- Test the taste to add more ingredients until you're happy with the flavour.
Add chilli or chilli paste when serve.
Add crushed roasted peanut when serve.
