Ingredients

01 small bottle of soy sauce
01 small carrot, peeled and shredded into tiny strips or minced
02 red chili, finely minced
01 lemon
Sugar
Water


Procedures

Soy sauce is a favourite dipping sauce for rice paper rolls. It is for vegetarian, vegan, and especially a replacement to fish sauce for people who do not like the distinguished flavour of fish sauce. This dipping sauce soy sauce was a part of Tofu rice paper rolls recipe sponsored by chef Trung.

6 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
6 tablespoon soy sauce
Mix all ingredients above into a bowl and taste the balance of dipping sauce. Add more sugar or lemon juice if needed.
When it is ready to serve, get the sauce into a small serving bowl, add shredded or minced carrot into the dipping sauce, and then add minced chilli if needed. For kids, please ask if they can eat chilli before adding spicy into the dipping sauce.
